Rosy Cheeks

Since the sun is shining more and more these days, I felt a bit pale.  I went looking at my local Sephora for a new blush.  Normally I wear Nars Orgasm, but I felt I needed something with a bit more sparkle.  I came across Super Orgasm.  There is an awesome amount of sparkle in this and I really enjoy the base color.  I tried it on and it was a perfect fit.  Nars Orgasm is a color that looks great on almost all complexions, so Super Orgasm adds just the right amount of sparkle on your beautiful cheeks!

Nice Nails

My first manicure was when I was 13.  I just fell in love with the way my nails were filed and shaped and perfectly polished.  I loved the array of colors that I could wear.  It was a way that I could express myself and it was just plain fun.  A while later, when I got my first pedicure, the diva was born.  Not a week goes by that I do not have a mani and a pedi.

I absolutely love the way my nails look when they are freshly done.  I will go out of my way and change my plans to have my nails looking good.  I will search for the perfect nail polish color.  I have a collection that is numbering around 50 bottles these days.  I search E-bay when a color is no longer in stock or rotation and I get a bottle or two there.

O.P.I. Is my favorite brand and they have partnered up with Sephora (www.sephora.com) to bring you colors that are delicious and right at our finger tips.  If my penchant for shopping Designer Labels wasn’t bad enough, I stumbled upon a color there called Sample Sale.  I laughed and bought it immediately.  It is a sparkly candy apple red, my perfect red.  It makes me feel like a 1940’s pinup every time I have it polished in my nails.  Curvy and Sassy!

Picture perfect

A good foundation is essential on the face as well as the body.  For my face, I rely on Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer. There are a few different kinds, and depending on the season and the state of my skin I choose between the Photo Finish, the Color Blend and the Color Adjust.  Each of these primers has a different function and I find them very valuable.

I have tried so many different primers and I keep coming back to the Smashbox.  My favorite is the Color Adjust, because I have lots of red in my skin tone.  It definitely blends it in and gives me a pure clean foundation for the rest of my makeup.  You can find Smashbox on Sephora.com, QVC.com, Amazon.com and Beauty.com.  Pricing on the Photo Finish is offered in a 1 oz. size for $36 and the 2 oz. is offered for $49.
